Thai Lounge: a blend of flavors and cultures

Just 25 minutes from Cancún Airport, inside the “La Isla”; mall in the “Fashion Harbor”, is Thai Lounge, overlooking Nichupté lagoon.

Surrounded by nature and characterized by its laid-back atmosphere, Thai offers two kinds of dishes, Indian and Thai. Its magic lies is the way it combines the unique flavors of the two cuisines.

We recommend going to Thai for a romantic evening or simply for a relaxed outing with friends where you can take a break from the bustle and energy of Cancún’s party atmosphere, lights and fun, and quietly enjoy some fine dishes and a refreshing drink or two. Its impeccable décor, featuring traditional Thai and Hindu motifs and statues, also beckons you to get away from it all and enjoy the peace of mind its atmosphere evokes.

We recommend you make a reservation well in advance to get a good table; if you’re celebrating something important you can either choose between the palm-thatched stilt houses on the lagoon, or the lounge itself, which offers superb sunset views. If you feel like venturing out and hanging out at the bar for a while (say hi to the dolphins!), you can try a traditional Hindu or Thai drink before dining. Then again, if you’re not feeling that experimental, Thai Lounge also has a wide assortment of more traditionally Western soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Don´t forget to ask about Chef Supoj Thamtinno´s specialty, and the dish of the month! Thai is open daily from 1:30 p.m. to midnight, and also features a live DJ at weekends.
